Being an accountant and tax adviser from top to toe, I graduated back in 2002 from a 3 years apprenticeship within a small office trustee in the suburban area of Zurich. I got teached from the very start, how accounting & payroll service work hand-in-hand and what impact they can have on the annual result of your profit & loss sheet. That was basically the initial impulse for my self-employment, which followed more than a decade later.
Back in 2009, I left the small town world from a professional prospective and moved to a bigger company within the city of Zurich. The company structure and work mentality was something I quite struggled with. Especially for me as an alrounder, doing basically all kind of services which tax advise & accounting has to offer. As I was not feeling myself comfortable at all with the situation, I decided to sort of move back to my "small office" roots in 2010. Felt very welcome and in good hands, I took on another job in town (Zurich), which should have been the last address of my self-employed professional career.
